Amerald Resort Hotel Desaru

We checked in on the 1st and the hotel said we could check in at 3 o'clock. When we arrived, the front desk told us that the room had not been cleaned yet, and we didn't get the room card until about an hour later. I used a straightener when I was staying at a hotel and then realized I didn't bring it back when I got home after checking out. I called the hotel that day. The first time I called the hotel staff they said the signal was bad and they didn't get back to me, but I could clearly hear the background noise. The second time I called they answered but didn't say anything. The third time they said they would help me look for it and then asked for my contact information and followed up. But he never contacted me again. I also sent an email to the hotel that day but did not receive a response. I called again today to ask because I initially thought they might have forgotten about it, but both times I called the other party hung up. Because the straightener cost about 700 yuan when I bought it, and we are still near Desaru, so I thought if I could find it, I would pay for the postage and ask them to send it to me. But not only did he not reply, he even hung up the phone as soon as he answered it. The hotel's sanitary environment is not particularly good. When we checked in, we found that there was sand on the floor of the room and the curtains were dirty. The overall stay experience was quite bad so I don't recommend it. Firstly, the hotel room was not prepared even past 3pm despite checkout times strictly being at 12pm. We reached the hotel around 3pm but were only able to get our room about an hour later. Secondly the hygiene of the hotel isn't great, and neither were the facilites included. Thirdly, I had realized that I left my hair straightener in the room after I got back home, and had directly contacted the hotel that evening. The staff noted it down after multiple calls saying signal was bad or simply not talking and said they would update me later, but I have not recieved any reply. Today I called again but there was not only no reply but they had directly declined my calls. I brought a phillips hair straightener which was bought for around 700rmb at the time, but the hotel staff have not contacted me nor answered the calls today.
